Physician Associates

Physician associates work as part of a multidisciplinary team with supervision from a named senior doctor (a General Medical Council registered consultant or general practitioner), providing care to patients in primary, secondary and community care environments.” This is an assistant role to doctors helping with simple practical procedures, administrative tasks, and working with patients in a supportive and specified role.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Training practice

The practice is proud to train the next generation of GPs. Moreton Group Practice is an approved training practice for doctors who wish to make general practice their future speciality. From time to time therefore you may be offered a consultation with a fully qualified doctor who will be working with us for either 4 or 12 months to gain hands-on experience of a GP surgery.

There may be occasions when, for assessment purposes, you will be asked if your consultation can be recorded on video. This will only be done with your full agreement and the doctor will explain exactly what he or she will be doing, and why, beforehand.
